Terms for jewellers
Last updated: 28 September 2026
These terms apply to jewellers who use The Doodle Mint for their business: the Atelier plan, the widget for your website, your shop page and online payments. They form a contract between your business and Asaka Suzuki, trading as Matane Group (NIF Y6417204B), Prat de la Riba 32, 08304 Alella, Spain.
The Atelier plan
- Price: €10 per month or €100 per year, plus VAT where applicable, billed in advance through Stripe.
- Free trial: 14 days. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the plan starts and renews automatically at the end of each period.
- You can cancel at any time from your account. The plan stays active until the end of the paid period; paid periods are not refunded, except where the law requires it.
- We don't take any commission on your sales.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email; you can cancel before the change takes effect.
Your shop and your customers
You are the seller to your customers. You set your prices, prepare quotes, make and deliver the pieces, and handle payments, invoices, taxes, returns and guarantees under the law that applies to you. The prices shown in your widget are estimates based on the settings you choose; you are responsible for checking them before confirming an order. Online payments go directly to your own Stripe account, under Stripe's terms.
Using the service
You agree to use the service lawfully, to keep your account details safe, and not to upload content that is illegal or infringes anyone's rights. Your shop page and widget show your name, logo and contact details as you enter them.
Your customers' data (data processing)
When your customers send requests through your widget or shop page, you are the controller of their data and we process it on your behalf, as your processor under Article 28 of the GDPR. We will:
- process it only to provide the service and on your instructions;
- keep it confidential and secure, and require the same from our staff and providers;
- use only the sub-processors listed in our Privacy policy, and tell you before adding new ones;
- help you respond to your customers' requests to exercise their rights;
- tell you without undue delay if a data breach affects your customers' data;
- delete it or return it to you when you close your account, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Availability
We work to keep the service available and secure, but we can't promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve and change features over time.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits.
Ending the contract
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously breach these terms, after warning you where possible.
Changes and law
We may update these terms and will tell you by email at least 30 days before any important change. Spanish law applies, and the courts of Barcelona have jurisdiction.
