This policy explains what personal data The Doodle Mint collects, why, and what your rights are. We have kept it short and plain.

Who is responsible

Asaka Suzuki, trading as Matane Group (NIF Y6417204B), Prat de la Riba 32, 08304 Alella, Spain, is the controller of your personal data. Contact: hello@matanejewellery.com.

What we collect and why

• Account: your email address, your password (stored encrypted by our sign-in provider), your name if you give it, and your language. To create and run your account (performance of a contract).
• Drawings and designs: the images you upload, the designs you save and their settings. To create and store your designs and to produce the pieces you order (performance of a contract).
• Orders and payments: what you buy, your shipping address and phone number for the courier, and payment records. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see them. To deliver your order and meet our tax and accounting duties (performance of a contract, legal obligation).
• Messages: what you send us through the contact form, feedback or help requests, with your email. To answer you (legitimate interest, or your own request).
• Jewellers: shop details (name, logo, prices and contact details) and the requests their customers send through the widget or shop page. To provide the jeweller service (performance of a contract).
• Technical data: basic logs (IP address, browser, time) kept by our hosting and database providers for security and troubleshooting (legitimate interest).

We don't sell your data, we don't use it for advertising, and we don't use tracking or advertising cookies.

Photos and the photo tool

The "start from a photo" tool (Beta) works on your own device: the photo is analysed in your browser and is not sent to us. Only the line drawing you choose to use is uploaded, like any other drawing.

Children

Our service is for adults. Children's drawings are uploaded by their parents, guardians or teachers. Please don't include children's names or other personal details in drawings or designs you share in the marketplace.

Who processes data for us

We work with trusted providers who process data on our behalf, under contract:

• Supabase (database, file storage and sign-in; servers in the EU, Frankfurt)
• Netlify (website hosting)
• Stripe (payments and jeweller payouts)
• Resend (sending emails)
• Google Fonts, jsDelivr and cdnjs (Cloudflare) (fonts and code libraries delivered to your browser; they receive your IP address)
• Our manufacturing partners (casting workshops), which receive the production file and shipping details of cast orders

Some of these providers, and manufacturing partners in some countries, are outside the European Union. These transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, an adequacy decision of the European Commission, or its standard contractual clauses.

When you send a design request to a jeweller through their widget or shop page, the jeweller receives your name, email, message and design, and uses them to reply to you. From then on, the jeweller is responsible for how it handles your data.

How long we keep data

• Account data and designs: while your account is open. If you delete your account, we delete them within 30 days, except what we must keep by law.
• Orders, invoices and payment records: 6 years, as required by Spanish commercial and tax law.
• Contact messages: up to 2 years.
• Technical logs: up to 90 days.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to object to or restrict its processing. You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. For anything else, write to hello@matanejewellery.com. If you think we have not handled your data properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, www.aepd.es) or to the authority in your country.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date on this page and, for important changes, tell you by email.
