Terms of sale

These terms apply when you buy from The Doodle Mint at thedoodlemint.com: production files, credit and cast jewellery. They are offered by Asaka Suzuki, trading as Matane Group (NIF Y6417204B), Prat de la Riba 32, 08304 Alella, Spain, hello@matanejewellery.com.

What we sell

  • Production files: 3D files (STL) of your design, ready for casting or 3D printing. Your first production file is free.
  • Credit: a prepaid balance in your account, used to pay for production files.
  • Cast jewellery: your design made in precious metal by one of our manufacturing partners and shipped to you.
  • Marketplace designs: designs made by other users, which you can buy and adapt.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in euros and include VAT. Shipping costs, if any, are shown before you pay. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. For cast pieces, the price is based on the estimated metal weight; the final weight can vary by up to ±10%. We review every order before production and contact you if anything needs your attention.

Your designs

You confirm that you have the right to use the drawings you upload (for example, because you or your child made them) and that they don't infringe anyone else's rights, such as protected characters or logos. You keep all rights to your drawings. You allow us to use them only to provide the service: to create, store, show you and produce your designs.

Production and delivery

Cast pieces are made to order by our manufacturing partners; we remain responsible to you for your order. We aim to ship within 10 working days of your order, and always within 30 days. You will receive a tracking number by email. Production files can be downloaded immediately.

Right of withdrawal

Consumers in the EU normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. Two exceptions apply to what we sell:

  • Cast jewellery is made to your specifications and clearly personalised, so it can't be returned for a change of mind.
  • Production files are digital content supplied immediately. Before a paid download starts, we ask for your express consent to the immediate download and your acknowledgement that you lose the right of withdrawal once it starts.

Unused credit can be refunded if you ask within 14 days of buying it.

Guarantee

If a cast piece arrives damaged, faulty or not as ordered, tell us within 3 years (the legal guarantee period in Spain) and we will repair or replace it or, if that isn't possible, refund you. Please write to hello@matanejewellery.com first, with photos. For production files, the legal guarantee period is 2 years.

Marketplace

When you buy a design in the marketplace, you get a personal licence: you may adapt it, wear it, give it as a gift and have it produced for yourself. You may not resell the design or its files, or produce it commercially. Creators receive 80% of the price as credit. Sellers confirm they have the right to sell their designs; we may remove designs that break these terms.

Complaints

Write to hello@matanejewellery.com; we reply within 5 working days. You can also contact your local consumer authority. These terms are governed by Spanish law; if you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the law of your country of residence and may go to the courts where you live.
